Councillor Monika Slater

Cllr.Monika Slater was elected to North Yorkshire County Council in May 2022 to represent the Bilton Grange and New Park division in Harrogate. 

Monika works as a customer service manager for a manufacturing firm. She is married with three children and in her spare time enjoys walking her dogs, films and knitting. Her particular areas of interest are mental health, disability rights and women's safety and equality.

Monika says: "Harrogate is a beautiful town and I am passionate about making it work well for all its residents, whatever their age, income or health."
